The postal ballot to elect the A.S.A. South West Region President Elect nominee for 2010 has been concluded by Phyllis Nicholls and Brian Hey on behalf of the County – Tuesday 8th September 2009.
We thank both candidates for standing; with two first class nominations, the election was inevitably close, Julia Airlie being the successful candidate. The total number of votes cast was 65 out of a possible 91.
On behalf of the County, the nomination will be confirmed to the A.S.A. South West Region Annual Council Meeting next Saturday 12th September 2009.
In respect of the above meeting, all clubs are invited to send representatives so please see agendas sent to club secretaries for details.
